While using IBI, you have the option to send an SMS to the addresses in your list if the address has a phone number.

To add a phone number, read this section of the IBI manual. It is also possible that the address contains a phone number after having sent it via IBI Transfer & Receive, or via email.

This section of the IBI manual shows you step-by-step how to send an SMS to an address, and how to setup a standard SMS.

Send an SMS

Make sure that you have added a phone number to the address. If you did this, on the right side of the address a small icon will appear. You can click on the icon and it will open your SMS app. In the next section you can set a standard SMS message to use when opening the SMS app in this manner.

Setup a standard SMS

By setting up a standard SMS text, you will be able to send an SMS faster to your customers. You can always change the message before you send it. See the YouTube video or follow the steps below to set this up.

First, go to settings by clicking on the SETTINGS button at the bottom of the screen, or by clicking on MENU and then on settings.

Then, click on OTHER SETTINGS.

Click on other settings

Type in the SMS TEXT box a standard SMS text. This text will be used when you want to send an SMS to you customer, but it can always be changed.

Now if you send an SMS via the IBI app, your standard SMS text will be filled in. The only thing left to do is press send!
